The Dragnet Case
A downloadable game
Back in 1988, there was a software publishing company called Taskmaster Software. Despite amazing plans of world domination, they released a total of zero games. However one of these unreleased games managed to escape to the Internet along with rumours of other Taskmaster games. This is the first release of the full working version of the game that escaped. With this Taskmaster Software officially releases its first game for the ZX Spectrum 48K, other platforms may follow.
The game itself is a text adventure written with the venerable PAW.

Hi, just writing this to address something that left me scratching my head in your homepage here at itch.io ( https://taskmastersoftware.itch.io/ ).
You set the story for Taskmaster Software as starting in 1998 alongside the founding of Google and China's Tencent. However anedoctal as that is, it seems more than a bit off.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but unlike those other two inferior companies ( :-P ), Taskmaster Software starts ten years before that, in 1988 ! Not 1998 ?
That's the problem with time travel, hard to keep up with what happened when.
